It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that Summertime Swing 2020 will not be going ahead this year. We held out to the last minute to see if something could be pulled off but unfortunately despite the government now allowing some outdoor events, with all the restrictions, social distancing etc that are still in place it would not be able to cover its own costs or indeed raise any money for charity (considering the expenses of sound system, staging, infrastructure etc). Also we feel the fun atmosphere that Summertime Swing always has would be impaired by these restrictions and thus reduce the quality of experience for the attendees so we feel it is better to do it properly and give everyone the full experience. 

Therefore we have changed the date of the eventbrite listing to Sunday 8th August 2021 (final confirmation pending) so you have the choice to either just use your existing ticket next year (for which you don't need to do anything at all) or if you cannot attend or are unsure if you can attend and would prefer a refund then please initiate one through eventbrite and you will refunded in full. 

We will be looking at how to do other events now that things are opening up so please keep an eye on our gig guide.  We are aso planning a virtual Summertime Swing so watch out for info on that too!
